Guide: Where system files go
If you’ve done any modding you might wonder where all the files are stored on your phone, especially with ROKR firmware which has two partitions. This will help you! This applies only to R373 firmware, R372 has no /c/ partition so locations are different! Either specific files or general types of files are listed.
Partitions notes
/a/ - All E398’s have this, it’s where most important files are
/c/ - A partition that R373 firmwares have, the “user partition”
/b/ - The TransFlash card. The phone uses the letter B, obviously if its plugged into your PC as a memory card Windows will refer to this with a different letter, usually the first available. The phone’s /b/ and Windows’s assigned drive letter are completely different.
